Adam D. O’Dell is a composer, arranger, pianist, percussionist, and teacher based out of Dubuque, Iowa. He is currently studying composition with Dr. Amy Dunker, and piano with Nancy Lease at Clarke University, and has studied music or participated in workshops with composers Chen Yi, Jim Mobberly, Mara Gibson, Christopher Young, and Michael Schelle, and performers Gary Morris, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Jeff Coffin, John Faddis, James Moody and the Transcontinental Piano Duo. Recent commendations include awards for composition from the Tri-State Wind Symphony, Make Music Inc. and The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Adam is also a composer for collaborative new music projects with the University of Wisconsin-Plattville, University of Northern Iowa , and the Arizona State University music departments.
