Alexander Proudlock

Alexander ProudlockAlexander Proudlock was born in 1992 in the North of England and began his musical training at the age of 8. He then studied at the Royal Northern College of Music under Dr. David Horne, where he was a Sunday for Sammy Trust scholar. In 2016, Alexander graduated with a 2:1 Honours Degree with a first-class mark in composition from the Royal Northern College of Music. He is now attending the the prestigious Royal Acadmey of Music studying for a Masters’ in Composition under Professor Gary Carpenter. Alexander is often sought after as an educator and was adjunct faculty in Music at Altrincham Grammar School for Boys in Greater Manchester from 2014 – 2016. Teaching composition, he was awarded a Leverhulme Trust Fund scholarship for his efforts in school education in 2015. He has recently been appointed honorary composer for the Crescendo International Music Competition and the New Stars String Competition based in Melbourne-Florida.
