Andrew Watts’ works, from chamber and symphonic to multimedia and electro-acoustic, are actively performed throughout the US and Europe. His compositions have been premiered at world-renowned venues such as Ravinia, MFA Boston, Jordan Hall, and the Holywell Music Room. He is currently a graduate fellow at Stanford studying with Brian Ferneyhough and working towards a DMA in Composition. Mr. Watts received his master’s with distinction from Oxford & his bachelor’s with academic honors from the New England Conservatory. In 2015 Mr. Watts will attend the biennial Ostrava Days Institute and the highSCORE Festival to work with Helmut Lachenmann. During past summers, Mr. Watts participated in the Wellesley Composers Conference, the Etchings Festival, Fresh Inc. Festival, New Music on the Point, and the Atlantic Music Festival. In addition to a liberal arts education at IU’s Hutton Honors College, he has also studied at Brown.
