Anthony (AJ) Stillabower is an undergraduate composer at Florida State University under the direction of Dr. Ladislav Kubik. He discovered his interest in composing when he began playing piano in 2008. As an active fan of progressive metal, and jazz, Stillabower’s music shows a heavy interest in polyphonic and poly-rhythmic textures. These compositional devices are utilized heavily in his featured work, Two Movements for String Quartet.
