Baljinder Singh Sekhon, IIBaljinder Sekhon is a composer/percussionist currently living in Tampa, FL where he serves as Visiting Professor of Composition at the University of South Florida. Performances of his compositions have taken place at over seventy universities in thirteen countries. In addition, Sekhon’s works have been presented by professional performers in notable venues such as the Cabrillo Festival Orchestra, Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, Carnegie Hall, Seoul Performing Arts Center, and the Silvestre Revueltas Concert Hall. Sekhon holds a PhD from the Eastman School of Music where he was a three-time recipient of the Howard Hanson Orchestral Prize.  [Photo: Gerry Szymanski]
