Brian Ciach’s music has been premiered across the U.S., as well as in Germany and Italy, and has won recognition from such organizations as the National Federation of Music Clubs and American Liszt Society. Currently an assistant professor in music theory and composition at Murray State University, he holds a doctorate in music composition from Indiana University, and is active as a pianist specializing in performing new music. Upcoming performances include new works for the Square Peg Round Hole percussion quartet, Alarm Will Sound at the Mizzou New Music Summer Festival, and European premieres of his Chaconne for cello and electronic music in Dublin, Ireland and Gdansk, Poland.
