Bradley Mikesell II (b. 1998) is an active composer currently residing in Tampa, Florida. His music has been performed by numerous groups such as the Hillsborough Community College Fanfare Concert Winds, the Pinellas All County High School Band, the Pinellas County Center for the Arts Wind Ensemble, and various other chamber groups. Bradley was recently selected to have an orchestra piece read along with four other finalists by The Florida Orchestra in early 2017. He won the Pinellas All County Composition Contest in both 2015 and 2016, in which he conducted his winning pieces, “Tallulah Gorge Fanfare” and “Sacrifice” at Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg, Florida. He has also been featured on Composers Circle for his woodwind quintet, “Gallus Gallus Domesticus.” Bradley is currently pursuing his B.M. degree with a concentration in Acoustic and Electronic Music at the University of South Florida under the instruction of Paul Reller and Baljinder Sekhon.
