Geoff Sheil is an award-winning Irish composer based in the Washington DC area. His work ranges from contemporary chamber music, to jazz, to electronic music and has been performed across North America and Europe. He has studied at University of Cambridge, UK, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MA and University of South Florida, FL, and holds degrees in natural science, composition and conducting. Geoff is now completing a DMA in composition at University of Maryland, College Park, on the prestigious Flagship Fellowship. He also works actively as a photographer and video engineer.
