Joshua Marquez

Joshua Marquez is a Filipino-American composer and classical guitarist from North Carolina.  He is currently a graduate student at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro pursuing his Masters in Music Composition studying under Dr. Mark Engebretson and Dr. Alejandro RuttyJoshua graduated from Campbell University in 2011, completing his undergraduate studies with dual degrees in three years (2008-2011), with a B.A. Music Composition and B.A. in Guitar Performance.  In his three years at Campbell he has studied composition and orchestration with Dr. Ran Whitley and Dr. William Pruett, guitar with Dr. Milen Parashkevov, and conducting with Dr. Charles Dwayne WilsonJoshua has presented music, performed, and participated in master classes with:  Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Jakov Jakoulov, Douglas James, Pasquale Rucco, Maestro Francesco Soler, Elliot Frank, Milen Parashkevov, Alejandro Rutty, and Mark Engebretson.
