23-year-old Turkish composer Mehmet Erhan Tanman, who especially aims to get orchestral sounds from every formation of instruments, works with several ensembles and orchestras both from Europe and Turkey such as Sonus Brass Ensemble, Triage Modern Music Ensemble, La Mer String Quartet, TalkingDrums Trio, Presidential Symphony Orchestra, MSFAU Symphony Orchestra, Turkish National Youth Symphony Orchestra, Antalya State Symphony Orchestra, Bilkent Symphony Orchestra. As a BeethovenFest Bonn 2012 participant, Tanman has been commissioned for a new opera by conductor Sybille Wagner for BeethovenFest Bonn 2014 and a trio by Meininger Trio. In September 2013, Tanman is going to continue his composition studies with Prof. Wolfgang Rihm in Germany.
