LISTEN: …innocent civilians were killed! for prepared piano and tape
Piano: Aksel Başaran

I have composed this music for the innocent civilians that were murdered in the bombings that took place in Suruc, Ankara and Istanbul. In the work, piano creates a percussive and noisy sound world through the usage of different materials prepared inside the instrument. The rhytmical transformation and development of piano is also guided by certain sound recordings.

PS: For a richer listening experience headphones are suggested.
