Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Patricia De Carli obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Composition at UniFIAMFAAM and is active in composition and piano since 2006. As a pianist, she has performed recitals in many cities, including Brazil and in Bordeaux, France, and also works as a collaborative pianist. Patricia attended the 4th Cycle Course Composition EMESP 2011-2013 , and her composition “Trapézio” was performed by the percussion ensemble PIAP, UNESP (State University of São Paulo). She also participated in 2012 as a pianist in the Contemporary GROUP EMESP (São Paulo’s State Music School) playing chamber works of the XX and XXI centuries. In 2013 she awarded 1st place in the National Composition Contest Camargo Guarnieri with the composition “Arcturus (Alpha Boötes) – Theme and Variations for Symphonic Orchestra” , which was performed in the Sala São Paulo by OSUSP (São Paulo University Symphonic Orchestra).
