Peter Longworth grew up in Scotland before being awarded a scholarship to study composition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London where he studied with Matthew King, graduating with 1st Class Honours in 2012. His music has been broadcast on the radio and has been performed in Canada, Germany, Poland, Malta and in several British venues such as Southbank Centre and the Silk Street Theatre, as well as in the City of London Festival. Peter was recently awarded a scholarship to continue his studies at the Royal College of Music which he will do with the further generous support of a Dewar Arts Award, and scholarships from the RVW Trust and the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
