After having studied studying music and mathematics in Amsterdam and having worked some years as an economist, Ruben Naeff (1981) recently graduated from New York University, where he studied composition with Michael Gordon. His music has been performed in six European countries and seven US states, and was presented by such institutions as the Bang on a Can Marathon, Aspen Music Festival, Hartford Opera Theatre, Center City Opera Theatre, and debate & fine arts festival happyChaos.
