Yoshihiro Fukagawa is a Japanese-born composer, guitarist, instructor, and audio engineer. He received his B.A. in Music, Jazz Guitar Emphasis from Grand Valley State University, M.M. in Composition from Central Michigan University, and D.M.A. in Composition from Michigan State University. Yoshihiro studied guitar with Carols de la Barrera (GVSU), Phil Marsh (GVSU), and Brad DeRoche (CMU), and composition with David Gillingham (CMU), Scott Harding (CMU), Charles Ruggiero (MSU), and Jere Hutcheson (MSU). Yoshihiro teaches private and group guitar lessons at Jackson Symphony Orchestra Community Music School, MSU College of Music Community Music School, and Dynamics Music School. He is currently serving as an assistant audio engineer at MSU College of Music Recording Services also.
